Celebrate Dark Chocolate February 1

Celebrate Dark Chocolate today! In light of today being National Dark Chocolate Day; it is nice to have a day solely dedicated to this yummy treat. From B.C., this has grown in popularity and is now one of the most versatile treats. So, are you ready to learn how to incorporate this into your life?

Celebrate Dark Chocolate

Of course, you don’t need a day to celebrate dark chocolate. However, I recommend that you go visit your favorite candy or sweet shop today. Indulge! Since this day is all about chocolate; you can get creative and try incorporating this into a recipe.

Since there are some great recipes for this delectable treat; I wanted to share a couple of my favorites with you. Because most people prefer to eat healthy; the following is a recipe for a Salted Chocolate Smoothie. For ingredients, you need the following:

  • 2 Tablespoons of Cocoa Powder
  • 2 Tablespoons of Chocolate Protein
  • 1 Teaspoon of Vanilla
  • Ice
  • 1/2 cup of Oats
  • 1 cup of Water
  • 1 cup of low-fat Yogurt (I recommend plain or Greek)
  • A Teaspoon of Sea Salt

Once you have all the above ingredients, you blend the above in a blender on high until completely smooth. Also, you can add either bananas or strawberries.

Moreover, this portable blender is ideal for creating the perfect smoothie. Also, this blender is easy to use and is small enough that it doesn’t take up a lot of room on your counter. In addition, this blender comes with some delicious smoothie recipes.

Also, dark chocolate isn’t just for dessert. You can use this in making meat, pasta or vegetable recipes. For example, you can add a little dark chocolate into a pesto and voila – you will have the perfect sauce for any pasta entree.

Or you can add dark chocolate and mix with rosemary to make a sauce for your beef tenderloin or steak.
