As the New Year begins so doesn’t award season. Last night was the 2017 Golden Globe Awards. Although the show takes place Sunday evening, E Live Coverage began several hours before the show.
2017 Golden Globe
Jimmy Fallon will host the Award show. In the first place, Jimmy Fallon is known as host of The Tonight show. Furthermore, his fun personality, and his love of music should provide good entertainment.
The Golden Globe is the prequel to the Oscars. Moreover, the award show honors television and movie performances.
Sylvester Stallone’s Daughters
So, every year the Hollywood Film and Press Association give the title of Mr. or Miss. Golden Globe to one of the offspring of an Actor or Actress. Sylvester Stallone, won a Golden Globe for his performance in Creed at last years award show. His daughters, Scarlet, Sistine and Sophia are this years Miss. Golden Globe. Hence, all three daughters will share in assistance with the show.
Fashion
Because this is always one of the highlights of award season, I always turn into E Live Red Carpet coverage before the show.
Best Dress – 2017 Golden Globe
First, the following are a few of my favorite looks that stood out to me and are on my best dress list. Giuliana Rancic’s romantic embroidered floral dress has me looking forward to spring.
Ruth Negga looked stunning in the Louis Vuitton silver metallic gown shown below.
Christine Evangilista took the plunge in her dress below. Also, I found this eye-catching in color, yet fun and sophisticated in style.
Emma Stone was a bright star tonight in her Valentino dress below. In addition, this dress paid reference to her song “City of Stars”. Not only did she look beautiful, but she took home the award for best actress in a comedy or musical. Will she take home the gold in next months Oscars?
Additionally, I thought there were a few stand-out dresses that are shown below. Thandie Newton’s simplistic white off the shoulder dress stood out to me. Also, I loved the bronze sequins flame detail that had this dress sparkle.
Natalie Portman looked stunning. Additionally, her dress reminded me of something we would have seen Jackie Kennedy wear. Her Prada buttercup dress had her looking regal.
Best Dressed – Males
Ruffles – Hit or Miss
Carrie Underwood pale pink dress below had her on both the best and worst dress list in various publications. Since ruffles are a big trend for the upcoming Spring/Summer 2017 season, I liked this design. Hit? Miss?
Zoe Saldana’s Gucci dress was another ruffle statement.Additionally, I thought Zoe with her Husband, Marco were one of the best dressed couples of the night.

Kristen Bell and Dax Sheppard looked gorgeous and were all smiles throughout the night.

Worst Dressed – 2017 Golden Globe
Of course, there are always looks that have you wondering, what were they thinking when they put this on. In the first place, I thought the dress below reminded me of a bad bridesmaid dress or prom dress you wore to your Junior or Senior Prom.
Although the dress below isn’t hospital scrubs, it reminded me of such. Your thoughts?
