Spring is just around the corner and today’s post is about Boston’s best food truck vendors. While it is always fun to venture out and try something new, the following are worth a try.
Boston’s Best Food Truck Vendors
For the best comfort food, lets start with Roxy’s Grilled Cheese.
If you’re looking for a spin on grilled cheese, Roxy’s is the truck to visit. To find out where Roxy’s will be next, check their schedule. In the first place, Roxy’s began in 2011 and has since expanded. Now, Roxy’s has four brick and mortar locations as well. Recently, I visited with their newest location in Lynnfield and thought their design had the feel of a food truck. Recommendations: Three cheese melt and house made lemonade.
Also, Mom on the Go serves variations of grilled cheese sandwiches. Next time you’re looking for some great comfort food, seek out Mom on the Go.
Recommendations: Apple, bacon and cheddar sandwich and perfect with a side of either roasted tomato or butternut squash soup.
Italian Boston’s Best Food Truck Vendors
Of course, everyone loves pizza. For some of the best pizza, try Sweet Tomatoes. Not only does the pizza truck create thin Neapolitan slices, but they also have 4 restaurants. Recommendations: Try the plain cheese or the pesto splash.
If you are looking for something organic, seek out Stoked Pizza Company. Recommendations: If you want something hearty, order the barbecue chicken and bacon or buffalo chicken.
Healthy Food and Pickles
If you’re craving a pickle, look no further than Grillo’s Pickles. Plan to get in line to satisfy your craving. Recommendations: Italian dill spear pickle. Also, due to the popularity of these pickles, you can now find these at many local grocery stores.
If you’re craving healthy and affordable food, look for Fresh Food Generation. When you find their truck, you can choose rice with many different side options. Let me know your favorite combination.
Boston’s Best Food Truck – Barbecue
When you crave barbecue, head to Red Bones food truck. Your mouth will be watering with their menu. While there, try the pulled pork sandwich or delicious St. Louis ribs. Recommendations: Since this is a hard choice, visit often and try everything at least once. Let me know some of your favorites.
Seafood and More
Also, if you’re looking for gourmet sandwiches, try the Dining Car. While there, try one of their delicious sandwiches. Furthermore, all of their sandwiches are on fresh baked bread. Recommendations: Definitely, the honey truffle goat cheese sandwich. You will be in a food coma for days after.
For fresh fish, seek out the cod squad food truck. You will find many fresh seafood options. Recommendations: Fish and chips or try a green salad and add either poach salmon or lobster.
Sweet Endings
So, who could resist the best part of the meal. With all the novelty cupcakes available, try gourmet cupcakes at The Cupcakory. If you’re unable to find their truck, you can visit their store in Reading, Massachusetts. Recommendations: There are so many choices, so it was hard for me to pick a favorite. After all, I love a good cupcake.
In addition to cupcakes, one of my favorites is The Whoopie Wagon. Since they have a shop near my home, I’m a frequent customer. Their truck has wonderful seasonable flavors. Recommendations: My personal favorites are the salted caramel and the S’mores.
Since there are food trucks everywhere, it was hard for me to include all of them. Let me know some of your favorite food trucks and recommendations.
