Five 2017 New Years Resolutions

Five 2017 New Years Resolutions

While everyone makes resolutions, my post for today is five 2017 New Years resolutions to keep for the year. Since many resolutions get broken within hours, days or weeks, try to set resolutions you can keep.

Five 2017 New Years Resolutions to Keep

So, the following resolutions are ones you can surely keep.

  1. Out with the old, in with the new. Now that is one everyone can keep.
  2. Stop procrastinating. By putting off each day something that can easily be accomplished, you’re losing sight of your plan.
  3. Set a goal to become more active. Since everyone sets a resolution to lose weight or start an exercise program, set a goal to do more things. By increasing your activity, you will see results in your weight. Not only will you be exercising, but you will have fun doing something you like.
  4. Take a chance. If you are more confident or willing to take a risk, people will notice.
  5. Earn more money. Take a side job. Freelance. Use the internet to find an opportunity. Sell things you don’t use or need any more. Your junk could turn into someone else’s treasures.

Realistic Goals

If you want to keep your resolutions, be realistic. Furthermore, the five 2017 New Years resolutions to keep that I suggested above are easy to maintain.  But by setting realistic goals, you’re not limiting yourself to a once a year.

Most Common Resolutions

In the first place, most people make resolutions every year to:

  • Lose weight
  • Make more money
  • Save more
  • Pay off debt
  • Exercise
  • Eat better
  • Drink less
  • Quit a bad habit
  • Volunteer
  • Travel

While some of these resolutions are easy, others are not. If you’re trying to lose weight and eat better, join or participate in a program. Since joining Weight Watchers, I have found it easier to lose weight and change my lifestyle eating habits.

Stay Positive

One day at a time is a good saying to incorporate into your everyday lifestyle. When you make a resolution and don’t keep it, you’re breaking a promise to yourself. While New Years resolutions tend to be about things we want to change, think about the positive results they can have.

New Years resolutions are an opportunity to make a change. In addition, it is an opportunity to commit to something you hope to achieve. Because everyone makes resolutions, try to make some that you can keep this year.

In conclusion, I hope my five resolutions in the beginning of my post inspire you. Hope you can keep your resolutions for the year.

Happy New Year!
