Vote Midterm Elections November 2018

Vote Midterm elections on November 6th. And, if you cannot get to the polls on that day; don’t fret as you can vote before. First and foremost, it is important for people to go to the polls.

Vote

So, if you’re unable to get to the polls, early voting is available from October 22nd – November 2nd. In my opinion, I prefer to vote before election day. By voting early, I don’t have to deal with the hassle on election day or traffic.

At the same time, many individuals cannot make it to the poll due to a medical condition, out-of-town or a religious belief. But, no worries. You can receive an Absentee Ballot by mail.

Why you Need to Vote

No doubt, the importance of every vote counts. At the same time, each election period has key issues. Whether you’re 18 or 75, there are critical issues. If you’re between 18 – 29, it is important to educate yourself on political topics.

Did you know those who fall into the age of 18 – 29 represent 50% of the population? Indeed, that number is staggering. Whether you are passionate about education, the environment or government, it is important to let your voice be heard.

Clearly, many millennials are not a fan of President Trump. For this reason, it is important to support the politicians and ballot questions you believe in. Since many millennials believe there was progress under Obama; there is huge reason for concern with the Trump administration.

Trump’s message during his race was for America to come together as one united people. But, have we? Be sure to check-out my Trump’s Remarkable Presidential Win post. Do you want the Republican party to win? If you’re unhappy with Trump, it is important to elect the Democratic party.

Every Vote Counts

Of course, there is progress that needs to happen. Whether it is increasing the budget for reproductive rights, social issues, race, education or mental health awareness issues; the bottom line is there are a lot of issues facing the world today.

Equally important is there is a diverse nature of partisan politics that are facing young voters today. In fact, in today’s fast growing world, geeks cannot say they don’t know anything about the candidates or issues. Information is available all over social media. In essence, President Trump uses Twitter as one of his methods of communication regularly.
