Lynne’s Life Journey Begins Anew

Lynne’s life journey begins anew this year. Since the death of my sister Edie, my family life has changed drastically. With tragedy, things can change. Since this year began, I have made several resolutions that I will share with you in this post.

Lynne’s Life

Throughout my life, I have always been a family-oriented individual. Because of my work ethic, I have always been a workaholic. Work has been my savior. When I closed my Wholesale Apparel Office in January 2015, I transitioned to blogging.

2016

Initially, my blog was about fashion, however, I changed my site in early 2016 into a Fashion and Lifestyle blog. While 2016 has been a lot of changes for me personally and professionally, I have turned my love of writing into much more. In reality, I have become a freelance writer.

2017 Lynne’s Life Begins Anew

As 2016 came to an end, it had me thinking a lot about life. Although I’m a homebody, I also love trying new restaurants and activities. While I love being in cozy clothes throughout the day, I also love venturing out.

So, this year begins anew. Although my family life will never be the same, I am still the same person. Of course, my life has faced a lot of changes over the last 14 months, however I have a purpose in life. Life’s journey faces challenges, lessons, hardships, celebrations, joy and heartache. Because the road may not be smooth, we have to pave our own way.

When Edie died, there were days I couldn’t function. Finally, I made some decisions. Time doesn’t stop. I had to move on and deal with my loss of my Sister and best friend. Due to my relentless effort in bettering myself, I participated in several grief support programs. In the light of these groups, you not only relive your pain, but also others. By participating in a group, you learn about other losses and develop coping mechanisms.

Lynne’s Life 2017 Resolutions

Because heartache has made me a stronger person, I have come up with resolutions for 2017, I want to share with you. Although people have come and gone throughout my life, I feel lucky for the experiences I have gained from some of these individuals.

In 2005, I married the love of my life (visit my post written prior on my Husband). My Husband has been a priceless treasure in my life and everyday I feel lucky I found him.

My resolutions for 2017 and beyond are:

• To continue on Weight Watchers and reach my goal
• Also, to participate in new groups and classes
• Try out new healthy recipes and incorporate into my lifestyle
• In addition, I hope to travel to some new places this year and beyond

Conclusion

In the first place, you may not be where you want; you can start by creating your own journey. Make some small changes to get to where you want to be.

Of course, work, relationships and growth depend on your choices. When you are making any life altering changes; you want to think about the best way to not only achieve your goals; but more importantly to live your best life.

So, Lynne’s life journey for this year and beyond is about creating new memories and doing what matters to me.

When you look into your soul; you will realize the person you are today happened due to your own life experiences and journey.
